Built to Last and Loved for Generations
Today, Geert and I had the pleasure of revisiting an old friend, crafted in 2009. Originally named "Desiree" after Geert's grandfather, this baluster dining table marked a new chapter for us. Over time, it has taken on the name "Davos," symbolizing its timeless elegance and strength.
The purpose of our visit was to capture new images for our website and social media, as well as to reconnect with its owners, who welcomed us with their ever-present warmth and hospitality. Not only was the dining table in fantastic shape, but so were K & S! Their dedication to their sportive cycling spirit is truly something to admire and take inspiration from.
This Renaissance-inspired monastery table has become an iconic piece and a signature image of our brand. We were delighted to see how well it has been cared for over the years. It continues to serve as the heart of the home, where memories are made and celebrated.

The table, now more than 15 years old, stands as a true testament to Geert's craftsmanship. Its proportions remain as striking as ever, and we continue to admire the accompanying Mart Stam dining chairs, whose white leather upholstery is immaculate.
This table measures 300 cm x 120 cm x 76 cm and was meticulously hand-planed by Geert to perfection.
Thank you, K & S, for welcoming us so graciously and allowing us to capture this beloved piece in its beautiful home.
Love Geert & Veronique
